Executive Management Team

Mr. Doug Aldred joined Lester Inks in Toronto Canada in 1987 from the Royal Navy on their management programme spending a number of years in the laboratory primarily conducting research into coatings. Progressing through purchasing and production/site management, Mr. Aldred joined Flint Group as part of its acquisition of Lester Inks in 1994.

In 1998 he was named Vice President and General Manager Sheetfed Europe and relocated to the Netherlands. He was subsequently appointed Global Vice President for the Sheetfed Division. Following the merger of Flint Ink and XSYS in 2005, Mr. Aldred was promoted to Vice President and General Manager of the Packaging Division in Europe. Continuing with his progression Mr. Aldred was appointed Vice President for the Packaging and Narrow Web division in 2009, assuming responsibility for all sales and business development in EMEA.

In October 2011, Mr. Aldred was appointed as President of the Packaging and Narrow Web Division, EMEA and North America.
